Our 2017 enrolment information is now available. Please note that, as we limit class sizes and enquiry numbers have been very high, places are very limited. We strongly recommend that you contact us to enrol now.
We are holding 2017 enrolment days as follows... Wednesday 18th January and Wednesday 25th January (4-6pm) at our St. John's studio (cnr. Cranley and Geddes Streets) and Saturday 28th January (10am-12 noon) at Trinity Lutheran Hall (270 Hume Street, entry Potter Street). These are a great chance to meet the Principal and discuss your enrolment, but please note that, as places are very limited and interest has been very high, some classes may fill ahead of these enrolment days. Please contact us now!
I understand that it can be very difficult to choose a dance school - this is, after all, an important decision. It seems that our unique approach to teaching at Garden City Dance - and the results achieved by our talented students - have created quite a storm over the past few years. There really is a world of difference between the way we do things at GCD - and the standard of teaching that we are able to deliver - and the way that things are done elsewhere. These are fundamental differences which are built into the very structure of our school and based upon my credentials and philosophy as a teacher, and which are reflected on the smiling faces of our beautiful students and evident every time Garden City dancers grace the stage at eisteddfods and regional events - they aren't just words on paper!
I personally teach each and every student at Garden City Dance, our class sizes really are limited to, at most, 12 students (and, for many classes, a good deal less than this), our teaching methods, curriculum and class structure really are unique, and our dancers really are - as a whole - outperforming their local counterparts by a wide margin at regional competitions.
So, if you like the sound of Garden City Dance and are confused by similar, competing claims made elsewhere, please get in touch - I'll be upfront and honest and, if I feel that we can meet your expectations, we'd love to welcome you!
